Gotta say I love the 440. Abused several as a kid. But also think the hemi swap would be cool, probably make more power and have good drivability.

Now I’m in Georgia I went to silver dollar raceway in Reynolds’s. 1/4 mile. Made several passes. 1st was best and night cooled track off quickly. 12.46 @ 118mph. 60ft was 2.2. It’s usually does 1.7’s. My take away is car is still faster than I expected and makes a hell of a lot more hp than claimed. Was not expecting 118. Easily an 11sec car with a tire.

My worthless 2 cents. Automakers love electric cars because the simplicity of them makes them hugely profitable (or will). Less material cost, less labor etc. We are already paying stupid high prices so this to me is a no brainer for the auto industry. BTW, I’ve tried arguing the non-panacea that these are even with the likes of Johnny Lieberman. You will not win this argument as they have drank the from the nectar of the progressive nutsak. That said, the challenge is the rare earths and extensive additional use of petroleum products required to make said batteries. im not shitting on electric cars as I have said all along, when I can fill one up with the same convenience as I can a ICE vehicle I will be in. The power is amazing, the ability to alter and change platforms is also cool. But no way would I want to sit and wait for a charger to be available on a road trip let alone the wait for the charging. the zealots will say, ( well most of us charge at home so blah!) Fine, but many don’t and if you use a truck like a truck you ain’t getting far.

Looks like the recline on my seat is broken, headlights look sandblasted yet are only a year or so old. Feels different, I expect after driving my Z4 it will. I’m Sure I’ll get comfortable in it again just feels smaller than I remember. But, it’s ornery. No traction at all in first, second lots of wheel hop and I certainly need to practice shifting. Torque is huge difference and it pulls pretty hard. Definitely needs tire. Can’t imagine what it will be like with the supercharger.
