Now I’m in Georgia I went to silver dollar raceway in Reynolds’s. 1/4 mile. Made several passes. 1st was best and night cooled track off quickly. 12.46 @ 118mph. 60ft was 2.2. It’s usually does 1.7’s. My take away is car is still faster than I expected and makes a hell of a lot more hp than claimed. Was not expecting 118. Easily an 11sec car with a tire.

My worthless 2 cents. Automakers love electric cars because the simplicity of them makes them hugely profitable (or will). Less material cost, less labor etc. We are already paying stupid high prices so this to me is a no brainer for the auto industry. That said, the challenge is the rare earths and extensive additional use of petroleum products required to make said batteries. im not shitting on electric cars as I have said all along, when I can fill one up with the same convenience as I can a ICE vehicle I will be in. The power is amazing, the ability to alter and change platforms is also cool. But no way would I want to sit and wait for a charger to be available on a road trip let alone the wait for the charging. the zealots will say, ( well most of us charge at home so blah!) Looks like the recline on my seat is broken, headlights look sandblasted yet are only a year or so old. Feels different, I expect after driving my Z4 it will. Yep. It’s an impressive engine. Took it to my new job in Georgia last week. About 4 hours from home. Out Sunday night home Friday night. little sucker loves 100-120mph and cruises comfortably at those speeds. Very responsive. I guess the handling is probably perception over reality. The m40 has to be better by the numbers. It was BMWs fastest car around the ring for a bit.

Talked to Hutter today. Car is back together. Having them put a Cold Air intake on it as the stock unit is causing a bunch of vacuum pull. And about 30whp. Hopefully I can get it shipped to TN next week!!
