Here it is.  I think I'm going to peel the green Plasti-dip paint off.  It is red underneath.  I don't care for his stickers.  I've ridden it around the block a few times today and it rides really nice.  It has enough power for me.IMG_4599.thumb.JPG.ce39fb9b5029f2c482a68b7a76425f3f.JPGIMG_4600.thumb.JPG.b3df1bcd1e023a7c652dea56512b140e.JPGIMG_4602.thumb.JPG.24a445c558b6bf0c6456af94030dc5eb.JPGIMG_4605.thumb.JPG.92e335b328316b021b0cf9f0e89ec2aa.JPG

Nice bike! One thing I would do is get rid of the RAM phone mount and get one made by Quad Lock. Had issues with my phone wanting to try and lift up in the mount.

  2. Some of you seen this car, but for others, here’s the spill on it.

    1981 Mercedes Benz 240D diesel

    4 cylinder, 72 horsepower

0-60: yes, maybe under 30 seconds

30mpg on the Highway hauling ass at 65mph

Was and automatic car, but the flex disk on the driveshaft at the transmission said “YEET!” and caused some damage.

Swapped the car over to manual transmission late last year. Simple swap on these cars. No fabrication required.

Using it as my daily 💩box driver from New Albany to Olive Branch. I park it in Hot Rod parking just to yank everyone’s chain.

Starting to do small items to help with durability and appearance.

Let’s have some detail! I’ve gone from being an American muscle to a euro enthusiast.

1981 Mercedes 240D, 186k (maybe more, odometer was broke when purchased). Was an automatic until the front flex disk on the driveshaft yeeted itself a half mile from the house🤦‍♂️ Slowly been working on a manual swap, just takes some time and weather to cooperate (and schedule). Gonna try and have it ready for Eurofest in Jackson this year. Only 62hp, but a good driver.

  4. Realized this weekend my Mercedes has been off the road for one year due to a driveline failure (flex disk). Been slowly working on converting from automatic to manual, but my previous work (getting home at 6-7pm) and the weather has not played in to getting it completed. Finally bit the bullet and started working on it yesterday in 100 degree heat with a fan blowing under the car. A simple 45 minute job wound up being 3 hours and a shitload of cool downs. Time to think of another game plan….

Hope you mend soon.   I recommend NOT sitting around, but staying active.  Vitamin D also.  I took Ivermectin (since we had some for the horse).   We all had it August of 21 and haven't thought about it since, even though there are people around here still getting it (again in some cases).

I’m still working from which is a plus, but not being at work is driving me nuts. Plus I think Karen is about to make sure I go back to work this week😂😂😂

  6. Mississippi up in this joint!!!!!

Some of y’all know me as KDPate from the old days. Lot has changed since the last inception of SNT:

got a job with Toyota in Mississippi

got a new girlfriend (haven’t scared her away; she’s stayed with me 5 years this Friday)

Starting a new job at Edelbrock on Monday.
