I thought the afm disabler I have plugged in the obd port would let it run on all 8 but I guess I was wrong. I just need to have the tuner disable it when I get it tuned

I had to hook up my old valley cover to get the truck to run on all 8 cylinders. If not it will only run on 4 cylinders.

Bout set the truck on fire when I 1st started it and only 4 cylinders were working 

Started the truck today. My 2008 4wd silverado. It's been down for almost 4 months. Now It needs a tune.

Right now truck has 40lb injectors and a 320lph pump. I'll have to upgrade both of those.

Fix it Disney.    Batteries need to be standardized like gasoline is standardized.  Make batteries in a few different "grades".  Make all battery packs like a suitcase on wheels that can be rolled out of the chassis, checked for "health",  and exchanged for a charged battery.  A stop for a battery could take the same time as a gas fill up.

I feel like my truck takes off in 2nd gear when I floor it. About 330 feet down the track it  downshifts. Could that be in the tune? Regular driving it shifts fine. It only does it when I floor it.
