Next is gears. I want to do a 4.30 gear. That should put me in the 7s down the 1/8 I'm running 9.0 on motor i haven't been to the track since I got the nitrous setup

Dyno graph from the pulls.

Put the little silverado on the dyno at cars and coffee yesterday. It made 290 on motor and 412 on nitrous. It made more than I thought it was going to make. I was expecting 260 on motor and 360 on nitrous VID_278450317_010622_366.mp4

Is yours 4x4? I'm just wondering how hard it's going to be to replace the oil pump with the diff in the way

I tried the high rpm trick. One I turned the truck off it was shutting off and then for a split second it sounded like it wanted to turn back on. Like the engine rotated by itself

One I did it 3 months ago all I did was replace the lifters on the passenger side. Oil pressure is good All the lifter rollers looked good, I looked inside the lifters bore to look at the cam and the cam also looked good Truck still has dod lifters in it

I have one of these on the truck https://www.rangetechnology.com/products/afm-dfm_disabler/ Been on there for a year now. And still that #4 failed. Truck doesn't tick or make any weird noise and it has good oil pressure. Just that #4 is missing. I swapped coils around, spark plugs and fuel injectors and still misses.

What would cause the same lifters to go bad? I replaced the lifters on my 08 silverado cause #4 cylinder was missing. Truck ran good for 3 months and now again same #4 cylinder missing. My plan this time is to buy a cam and remove the dod lifters. I just don't want to do all that and #4 start missing again.

I've been good. Just working and playing with the little silverado. I've been wanting to go to the track but I haven't had free time to go. I missed you guys. I kept checking everyday to see if the website was back up. After a couple months I just quit checking. I was surprised when I checked last night and saw it was active again. When is the next meet John?
