Hinepa had a 1955 Oliver Super 55 that I have wanted for years. I have told Dad that I want it and would be willing to pay for it. We also have his 88-90 2wd Chevy. I wouldn’t mind adding it to my pile of projects, too. Fortunately, the Farm had already been split up between my dad, aunt, and uncle. And, they all get along.

On the subject of electrified vs gas powered products, does anybody have experience with an electric pressure washer. I just picked up a 2100 psi for $70.

I've got one for a square body S10. Close enough?
That would look better on a brown P'up with gold flames.

OK. I'll see if I can locate an aluminum topper with pop out windows for you. It will match the chrome perfect.
HAHAHAHAHA
I really want a two-tone 94.

I remember staying with my Granny and Hinepa, and going to church with them. Hinepa would walk to my great-grandma’s house to get her and her car, come back to get me and Granny, and get there in time for Sunday School. Today was Granny’s birthday, so yesterday, he joined her in Heaven to celebrate. That car he would drive us in, is now in my garage, and I can see that church from my backyard.

To be honest, I'm kind of liking the chrome. It's a conversion truck, so it came with the package. At least it doesn't have the crappy running boards. I bought those wheels a couple of months after I bought the truck. I really wanted Torque Thrusts but figured I'd go with something cheaper and that are every 3rd lowered C/K on the streets. They look a lot better in person. You're right about the prices. I paid $1600 for the rolling chassis, in 2020. I'm pretty sure I could sell it for double that, today.

The Nova made noise, today. It sounded kind of angry, but it was more like an irritated wife angry and not a get out and do something angry. Once I get the fan wired up, so I can keep it under 300 degrees, I can get the puny little small block calmed down.

I used to read the map anytime our family went on trips back then. My dad used to buy 1 every year at Walmart
Dad had a Rand McNally atlas in the car at all times.

I'm so old that I can't remember what makes me so old.

Finally got the cam swap done and hoping to set the engine in the truck, next weekend. In the meantime, I'm planning to have the Nova driveable to pick my little girl up from school, later in September, when my wife is out of town.

I guess I'm in the minority. I just don't care for the C8 Vettes. They look like a fake Ferrari to me. I'd much rather have a C5 or C6 Z06.
I agree with you, Kevin. I'd much rather have a C7. As far as looks go, I still prefer the C5s.

The new Z06 is nearly $25,000 more than the old one, and a loaded model approaches $160,000 with options including the $8995 Z07 package and $11,995 carbon-fiber wheels.

Ended up in Nashville to take the girl to the zoo and for Southeastern Truck Nationals. My original plan was to go to SETN early and then the zoo. Ended up going to the zoo first and got to SETN 20 minutes before it closed. All the vendors were closed up and all but about 150 trucks had gone and left. But, at least my girls got what they wanted and I was able to get a T-shirt.

For some reason, I thought you did IT in the prison. I didn't realize you were a guard.

Had to do a use of force at work at 2032 hours yesterday.
Made a non-compliant clown compliant.
The sucky part, once wrestled to the ground, we tased him as he wouldn't stop resisting and fighting.
So being he can use stuff as a weapon, I told my fellow officer to pull the taser dart out of his back shoulder.
In the process of him yanking it out and while I was still holding this clown down on the ground against the wall, he scratched me across the left forearm about 3 inches with the dart.
So I spent the first half of my day off this morning in Vanderbilt ER getting blood work done, shots / meds just in case he had something.
Medical staff told me he had Hepatitis in the past, but that was the curable type and he was clean of everything now.
Still, I took no chances.
So how was your day?
Dang, son!!!

This one is gas. It'll need a starter, carburetor, and a couple of tires. 2-3 years ago, before inflation hit so hard, it looked like everything would be less than $1000. Now, I'll probably have to take out a second mortgage on the house.
