  1. Oh wow! Were they making you drive your personal vehicle on the job and not paying you for gas?
  2. I don’t have pictures of them all, but here are some:
  3. GT500 motor now offered as a crate motor. https://www.motortrend.com/news/ford-mustang-shelby-gt500-predator-v-8-crate-engine/?sm_id=organic_fb_MT_trueanthem&utm_campaign&utm_medium&utm_source&fbclid=IwAR1edsAGgxFAlpnIWT8Ud2Tdt6WTrAVbCg0Ze1YJbSGXGqxPELtVGGDB8UE
  4. I drive about 2,400 miles to work per 30 days averaging about 18.5 mpg. So 2,400 / 18.5 = 130 gallons of 87 pump. 130 x 3.99 a gallon = $518.70 I burn 93 pump in the F150 Eco, so if I daily drive it to work, I’m out about $600 a month in fuel. Then add full synthetic oil changes every couple months and the extra miles riding around on my off days to shop for groceries, go out on the town, etc., and we’re out even more. To go a month on electric, would be about $100 a month for me. So I’m definitely adding an electric vehicle to my garage! So who else here is considering an electric vehicle as a daily?
  5. One more that has some numbers…
  6. Gas prices are so high now I’m planning on a new Lightning truck. I’d say we’re 6 months to a year out on it. If I did the math right a few months back, a 300 mile charge is about $15? With what I spend on gas and oil changes, I’d actually save a little money monthly and gain a vehicle in the process. It’s a no brainer!
  7. Had a bit over a 1/4 tank in the F150. $121 to fill up
  8. Sure it is. Because today, $105k will buy you a new 2022 GT500!
  9. After some heat cycling you can see it’s starting to change color
  10. Anyone that tells you a catalytic converter isn’t restrictive is not being honest with you!
  11. Titanium header and GP slip on install Unboxing the Akrapovic Ti Exhaust removing stock exhaust
  12. I did the math on that 93 Cobra. In 1993, a Troy ounce of Gold was $360. Today it is 1,883.85 a Troy ounce. So if the owner of the Cobra bought gold instead of the car, $20k in gold at $360 an ounce is 55.55 ounces in 1993. Today, that gold would be worth almost $105,000.00, so selling at $75k (the current bid) the owner is actually losing money. What say you?
  13. Mods so far: KCS Tune de-restricted and ram air restrictors removed Akrapovic Titanium Header and Titanium GP slip-on Yoshimura fender Eliminator Stock the day I bought it new:
  14. Installed some Vance and Hines Eliminator 300’s
  15. Ehh, just working a lot. GoDaddy hosed the update and move to the new server, so I had to start fresh unfortunately. Family is doing great. My daughter will be 2 on July 9th. Hows your family?
  16. Fox body Mustang Cobra bid is already at $75k! https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1993-ford-mustang-svt-cobra-50/#comments-anchor
  17. After all the bugs got worked out, I put on some DR’s and re-dyno’d the car. It put down 781rwhp with 400 less rpm on TKR’s dyno! Before valvetrain was fixed, 760rwhp at 6,800 rpm's. After valvetrain was fixed, 781rwhp at 6,400 rpm's.
  18. So now the car started over heating and having cylinder imbalance OBD2 codes. It was down on power and not running good at all. I thought I was lifting a head gasket, so I bought ARP head studs, LS9 head gaskets, etc. Turns out it was just a stuck thermostat on the over heating issues, but we found valve train issues in the tear down. Broken rocker arms and worn push rods... We replaced the TSP rockers with stock rocker arms and Smith Bros trunions along with BTR push rods.
