  1. As a life long musician, and someone who minimally knows how to play a piano and read music. Take her to get lessons. Piano is extremely difficult to learn - I tried teaching my own kids and we all just quit. Taking her somewhere can teach her the fundamentals and proper techniques. Its better to learn the right way vs learning bad habits and then having to correct them later. My opinion anyways
  2. They said in the video or at least one that i watched that gas was not to blame. I say fuel because i'm not sure what it is but its something combustible. my 2 cents anyways
  3. Gas not to blame.... Thats a fuel explosion if i've ever seen one.
  4. Hard to say. 3995 Chapel HIll Rd 37040 is one of the farms they bought. They also bought a few surrounding farms. I know they own a few houses in a few states. They're not hurting for anything money wise
  5. Starbucks made my don't support list when they trash talked veterans.
  6. straight from my cell phone. I saw them once before and carried my camera for weeks and never saw them again. The next foggy morning we had and they show up. I was hoping to get a good picture but it's too dark now at that time of day. That lot was purchased last year by a family out of Florida. 900+- acres
  7. I don't think you're alone in this
  8. basic white girl to the max
  9. Cherokee's are hard to grow for some reason. For us anyways. We planted: Red, Yukon, Russet and fingerling. The only thing we put down was diatomaceous earth. We lost alot to squash bugs and worms. Name of the game i suppose.
  10. The results were round holes . Alot of videos show you that it doesn't work but they just didn't get the metal hot enough.
  11. Yesterdays haul My fav garden foods. i soak the cucumbers in vinegar for about an hr before mixing them. Those are Cherokee purple tomatoes (favorite).
  12. I'm sure there are plenty of folks around here that know way more than i do.
  13. our tomatoes did pretty well although they weren't pretty. We canned about 100lbs worth. Still have some coming in but have taken most plants out. Squash did well, cantaloupe too but thats coming to an end. watermelon, beans, and peppers are still producing good. ended up with about 40lbs of potatoes, moles got the rest. Pest were pretty bad this year but we also go fully organic with ours. It's almost time to start the fall garden, should be easier pest wise. We spent the extra money this year and completely covered the ground and put in a drip line. That made ground maintenance = zero. Short vid of me burning the plant holes.
  14. I also loved the yearly cookout and tire burning party that he and his buddies had
  15. My grandpa owned his truck and hauled for TN steel haulers. One of his last trucks was a Ford cabover. I loved that thing, and loved riding with him in general.

  20. I agree. We have a highly trained GSD and we love her. However, if she ever bites anyone unprovoked, she gets put down instantly. We got a new puppy and my gsd is not happy about it. This is rare form to be this close
