I'm still trying to figure out how to make this screen in the dash of my Challenger play videos while I'm going down the road.

18 wheelers are far worse than "4 wheelers" in my experience. Truckers are terrible between my house and Nashville. They see you coming and flop their truck out in front of you slowing you down 15 mph. Then, they have the slowest uphill drag race next to another truck for miles. If you know you are speed limited, why would you do that? Also, they park on the shoulder. blatantly ignoring the no parking signs, of on-ramps causing a dangerous situation, especially when parked at the end of the ramp. If someone won't get over to let you merge, there's a truck on the shoulder and you have nowhere to go.

I'd rather them force truckers to install a right lane only limiter.

Ford must have let the Camaro team design the rear of the new Mustang. Elon Musk took care of the dash. The overall car looks too much like the current Mustang. At least Ford is still offering the V8. I think they'll be ready when everybody finally realizes electrification of the auto industry ain't gonna work.

Talk about being old an remembering made me wonder. How far back can you remember? I can remember things from when I was 2 years old. Dad and mom always said I was just remembering what they told me. Well, my brother, dad, and I went to Lexington, KY for a basketball game 6 or 7 years ago. Dad wanted to find the old apartment we lived in, which wasn't too far from Rupp Arena. Dad found a row of apartments and thought that was it. I told him it wasn't. He looked at me like I was silly and said, "How would you know? You were 2 years old when we lived here." He did realize they weren't the apartments. We drove a little further and I said, "That's it right there." It blew his mind when he realized I was right. Dad now believes that I can remember that far back in my life.

I forgot about the woman who lived behind my parents' house in Murfreesboro. My cousin was over and we went to a little cruise-in they had on the square. Apparently, when we left and drove by her house, I was "driving too fast" with my "loud" truck. Yeah, I would put it in 2nd gear so I could hear the exhaust, but we weren't going too fast. In fact, I had slowed down when I saw her pre-teen daughters sitting on the curb. When we arrived back to the house, my cousin went in the house and I stayed out cleaning the bugs off the grill and wiping it down. As I was doing so, Mrs. T. came up behind me going beserk about speed, noise, and something my cousin supposedly said to the girls as we were driving by. I told her I didn't hear him say anything to them other than "hello" and the take the exhaust noise up with Chrysler Corporation. She proceeded to try to slam her fist on the hood of my truck. I actually reacted fast enough to catch her wrist. I looked at her and told her to never touch my truck. Dad heard the commotion and came outside. It took mom coming outside to back the woman down. Mom told her to never come back in our yard or she'd call the police. I don't think they ever talked to her again.

You must have cool neighbors. I remember my friend Ricky brought his 'Cuda over and fired it up on the trailer years ago. The neighbor across the street apparently didn't care for open exhaust, so he came over and raised cane with my dad and threatened the cops on us. When we first moved here, I used to take the Shelby Charger for a spin around the block. When I got on my street, I'd hammer down on it and blaze the tires off in 2nd gear. I drove by my neighbor's house and he was out in the front yard pointing at me with an angry look on his face. I put the car in the basement and 3 minutes later, a Hickman County Sheriff's deputy drove by slow looking at our house.

Something with less frightening stall characteristics. They didn't call the Corsair the "Ensign Eliminator" for no reason.

This truck has so much potential. Lose the grandpa chrome and find some nice wheels. I've been wanting a GM stepside for a few years and I don't know why. I am thinking about selling a car. I have pretty much lost interest in 2.2 turbo Mopars and haven't done anything with my 1987 Shelby GLHS in forever. I washed it yesterday evening and I'm planning to continue cleaning it up. I have an interested buyer. He'd a friend I met in 2005 at the SDAC convention in Cincy. He is one I think would be a great caretaker of it. I'm thinking about using the cash to build up the D150. I was thinking about a late model 392 Hemi swap, but I think a built up 440 would be cooler. I'll probably keep the 727 Torqueflite, but I might look into a manual swap. It will need a rearend too. Fuel injection and air conditioner are other things I'd like to do to it.

You will have to get a transmitter and receiver that do the telemetry in order to know lipo voltage in real time. I know of no battery that would do that. That checker I linked will beep at your set voltage.

Is it the new "Smart" technology? I don't have any of those because I'm a cheapskate. I usually buy my lipo batteries from Hobby King when they're on sale. You can also buy them for reasonable prices on Ebay, Amazon, etc.

Try not to get the lipo battery under 3.8 volts per cell. Get a battery checker. Also, store them at 3.8 volts per cell if you aren't going to use them for a couple weeks.

I watched that video and it has a very left leaning stance. He may be right about how black people see both parties, but I can see a couple blatant lies he told. First, the democrats were not responsible for the Civil Rights Act of 1964. When congress voted on it, nearly 100% of republicans voted for it and over half of democrats voted against it. Lyndon Johnson signed it because he was convinced it would wrap up the black vote for them. He didn't want to because he was plenty racist. You won't find any of that on Google. Phil Valentine researched it in the Library of Congress and outlined it in his book. Second, he perpetuates the myth of the parties flipping on racial issues. Republicans were responsible for blacks having rights. None of them went to the democrat party. A few democrats fled to the republican party. The majority of the racists stayed put. They have been successful at deflecting the responsibility of Jim Crow racism off of the democrat party and onto southerners. They've tried to deflect it onto republicans and people are starting to believe that garbage. As for me asking my friend to watch this video, I will not. I feel it is dishonest in many ways and I don't believe in the overall message.

I asked a black friend of mine why they vote that way. He doesn't. It infuriates him that he is the only conservative voter in his family. He told me that there is no logic behind it. His friends and family all believe the propaganda that republicans/conservatives are all racist and have been for years. They believe every thing the democrats say and don't check up on it. He also said that they believe white Christians are lying about democrats being for abortion and homosexuality.

I see what you are saying with some people on the confirmation bias. For me, it has nothing to do with it. I see things as right vs. wrong. In fact, I see both sides for what they are. What the left stands for is exactly against what is right. When they clamor for evil and against Christians, they are wrong in my eyes. Now, for the Republicans, they aren't with me either. Most of them are just as bad as the leftists. They are in disguise. They make claims and either don't follow through or they secretly push for the opposite. I feel like they are the lesser of two evils because when congress votes, they typically vote the way I would. The backroom deals are why they're evil. I don't love Donald Trump. Trump is a terrible person. I don't like him. I voted for him because he wasn't Clinton. However, he was doing what I wanted him to do with policy. All the extra stuff (Twitter) made him look foolish. He may be corrupt and I'm convinced his is a narcissist. I would probably not like him in person. I'd probably not vote for him in the Republican primary (I didn't last time - I voted Carson), but I'd vote for him against any democrat. As for "Christians" who vote democrat, I just don't understand it. That party is totally against Christian thought and you're voting for them? Nevermind the extra taxation and spending they do while stifling the economy. In my lifetime, I've never known them to make things better. Knowing the history of the democrat party, I'm still amazed black people vote for them. They have been very successful convincing black people that they are for them. I know black people who think exactly like I do, but they will pull all the D levers in the voting booth.

The problem is we have fascist commies on the R side of the aisle too. They don't want the gravy train to end either. If they'd have taken care of the election and not allowed mail n voting, we wouldn't be dealing with this idiotic regime in the white house. They let the steal happen because they wanted Trump gone almost as bad as the left did. I'm not too confident that the red wave is going to happen. We won't ever have fair elections again until we all have to register to vote yearly.
