There is no way we will be 50% elect by 2030. I think automakers are going to loose a shit ton over the electric mandates not to mention the infrastructure required to support them. Electrics are still only a very small % of new car sales. I'm not against electric cars. I just don't want one. I would consider a hybrid though. Hopefully the mid-terms end this forced carnage on us.

Other than stroking mine to 427", I think we will have very similar builds. Same heads, cams are close and I went with a fast intake and NW throttle body. Once its back and I get some miles on it then its fuel and supercharger. Not sure which procharger to go with though? My goal was always to stay pump gas but that probably will change.

Old? Dah fk you mean old. Love my C6 (if) I ever get it back. (Oh the story got even better). 3rd short block finally built and hoping it gets on the engine dyno in a few weeks. C6 is the corvette sweet spot IMO and you cant go wrong with a Z06. Make sure the heads have been fixed on older ones, I think pre- 2011. IMO one of the last analog vettes, best looking and very daily drivable, even modded. C7's are small inside where I have ample room in the C6. Seriously, do all you can to avoid the old guys who value NOT driving their cars. I sh*t you not they brag about how many miles they don't have on them. Congratulations! You saved all the fun for the next owner. I expect a major market correction for cars by 1st quarter of next year. Already some Porsche's are not selling on BAT and once the factories start cranking out cars again, including vettes, the prices will drop like a rock.

I live in Maryville TN so the dragon is only about 20 minutes away. Finally got the SLK55 down here and have been on it several times with the Z4. This luxury is short lived as I took a position in Forsyth Georgia and will be moving again. A t least I'm still only 3.5- 4hrs hrs away. Not to mention I plan on doing some HPD days at Road Atlanta after going to the BMW training school later this fall.
