Ashley P
My brother's Chevelle on no prep surface. Exhibition of lack of bite at 12:10 (throttle whacks with no tire resistance), race at 13:35.

Ashley P
He's changed the trans and rear gears, but is still "in between" classes. New rules are coming and you are permitted to violate any 3, but he said it still won't help. I've cautioned him that he's plenty fast for no cage. It's a 383, runs low 7s on a sticky surface. Enough RWHP to push about a 3400 lb car to low 7s at nearly 100 in the 1/8th. It's been on the dyno as well as his dirt race car. Bigger cam and carb for the street car should have made a few dozen more HP than the dirt car, but a heavier driveshaft and lower rear gears showed very little improvement on the inertia dyno.
