Ashley P Posted December 30, 2023 Share Posted December 30, 2023 I just watched a vid about the Demon 170 and the engineer explaining the car said while they have carbon fiber wheels they do not have a cf hood because of....not wanting to sped the money crash testing. I'd never thought about carbon fiber hoods in crashes. They're bound to be much more likely to penetrate the windwhield in a frontal crash.
