Ashley P
I just watched a vid of a LEO get really low to the ground and next to a concrete wall to avoid gunshots in his direction. Watch and learn why his actions were INCORRECT.

Disney
I'm shocked that justice seems to prevailed at this point, assuming the Batman builder gets reimbursed for his time, trouble, and Constitutional Rights being violated.
Ashley P
I watch a few badge cam videos. Why, why can't LEOs use a shotgun once in a while? Dang these 30 yard pistol mag dumps with almost no hits. Shotgun = one and done.
Ashley P
^ I agree. "Mag dump" was...hyperbole. But I've watched several videos were LEOs had knowledge that they were about to confront a gunman and they show up with a pistol (85% of the time?) or the AR-15 (15%). Too often that pistol shot(s) miss. And miss. And miss. A shotgun would likely NOT miss. Example:

mstrpth
I know i fixed it correctly. replaced all the needed bolts and torqued everything to specs. What i don't know, is if there's a random piece of silicone just floating around waiting to clog something up
Ashley P
^ My first timing chain job on that engine was about last fall. I put all cam phasers on it also. Upon startup, codes for cam timing were generated. I cleared them. A little later, they were back. That's a bad feeling. So bad, that I drove that truck like 4 times over a day to make sure it would run right and the codes wouldn't come back. Then I gave it to the customer. About two weeks later I'm paged for the phone, that guy is calling. Man, a HUGE sinking feeling. He said "I'm just calling to let you know that truck ......(me bracing myself)....... has never run so good, thanks for fixing it!" I almost passed out. lol Edited March 28, 2023 by Ashley P
mstrpth
I did have a cam position sensor come light come on. I knew it would happen though. alldata says it has to be reset to normal or something like that. I didn't care, it had to go This was my wifes car. Ashley P
My boys are eat up with hunting. They bow hunt. Last year he got one, shot it about 4 times 'cause the bird acted like it wasn't hit. lol
Nova Cody
I have yet to kill a turkey. They have never been on my property before. Now I have a decent flock this year. Have a ton of deer here though.
Ashley P
We had never seen turkeys here until....some years ago....maybe 4? Now in the very back of the fields they are everywhere. My oldest is 16 and got a turkey 2 years ago with a shotgun and me "helping" (attempting a slate call with one hand while the other hand plugged my left ear because he was shooting out the side of the blind...holding the gun across my chest). He got the one last year with the bow. Both were during youth season which is about 3 weeks before adult season. He says the birds respond to calls during youth season, but now it's like they don't care.
Nova Cody
We had a tom gobble at us a bunch thus evening. Got 2 different hens about 5 ft from the blind. The Tom only got about 50 yards and I just didn't think it was a clean shot.
